Papa J & Tidal Water's Digital Noise is an innovative “side project” that came to be during the process of making the album “Polarity” for the rock band Tidal Water. 

We will offer electronic renditions of lyrics found on that album, whilst also making exclusive material for this project. 

Embracing a genre-defying approach, the name "Digital Noise" reflects our mission to create unique and hard-to-classify music. 

Our upcoming tracks can best be described as "Drum and Bass with a twist of Dubstep," enriched with Britpop, Slam Poetry and Hip Hop vocal elements to craft a distinctive auditory experience. 

J. Radøy, aka Papa J, the main producer and beats architect, lays the foundational grooves, setting the stage for M. Hovden, aka Tidal Water, who co-produces, writes, and delivers the lyrics. 

One of our upcoming singles, "Papa J's Digital Stereo Noise," serves as my -Tidal Water’s- humble ode to Papa J's unique musical approach and the dynamic synergy of our duo. Together, we infuse each track with a distinct identity. 

Jim Lehner from “Tristeza” & “Tidal Water” contributes live drum elements to some tracks and has composed and produced the synth track "Miami." His natural drumming interweaves a rhythmic feel that complements the digital foundation, offering a fresh take on Drum and Bass.
